Hafitha Issa is a 26-year old graduate of the Journalism and Communication from Makerere University Kampala. She attended our first training in August 2018.
Hafitha is currently working as a freelance News Anchor at Foundation for Africa, a news agency in Kampala, Uganda. She reports on different issues with a bias on business and politics.
“Owning a camera has helped me enhance my camera skills since I have ample time to practice with it. It has also added value to the articles I publish, and editors love articles with photos, as it tells the story better. The narrative of a photo which tells a 1000 words drives our newsrooms to have pictures to accompany the story.”
