Lydia Nakiwala

Lydia Nakiwala attended our 2019 training in Uganda with the goal of becoming a journalist. 

She graduated from Makerere University two years after she was initially planning to complete her degree, due to COVID and lacking the fees to finish her schooling.  However, she persevered and finished with distinction.

After learning how to take photos through our program, Lydia realized there was greater opportunities to be had in photography and is now a self-employed freelance photographer offering events and wedding photography.
