Miriam Najjingo is a Ugandan freelance photographer, visual storyteller, and photojournalist. With a background in journalism and communication from Makerere University, she captures powerful, story-driven imagery that reflects real-world experiences. In early 2025, she was awarded the Cranimer Mugerwa Photojournalism Award by New Vision for her outstanding work. A graduate of the Cameras For Girls Year-long program in 2023 and the Train the Trainer program in 2025, Miriam now mentors aspiring female photographers, using her skills to elevate women's voices through ethical and impactful storytelling.
