Joyce Mollan is a Ugandan photographer, journalist, and storyteller who uses visual narratives to champion gender equity and uplift the voices of women and girls. A graduate of Journalism and Mass Communication from Makerere University, she discovered her passion for photography during the COVID-19 lockdown—transforming it into an award-winning career that earned her the Afri Glow Women’s Choice Award for Best Photographer of the Year (2025).
