Sheilla Clara Apio, a luminary in photography and photojournalism, graduated with a Bachelor's in Information Systems and Technology (BIST) from Uganda. Initially starting her career as a writer post graduation in 2021, Sheilla transitioned into visual storytelling when she joined Cameras For Girls in 2023. Her academic background adds a unique perspective to her visual narratives, seamlessly integrating her ability to capture unfolding moments with her early experiences as a writer. Navigating diverse landscapes, from sports narratives to community stories, Sheilla's portfolio reflects a fusion of technical skill and creative intuition, each frame encapsulating the raw beauty of life. Beyond her craft, Sheilla is committed to mentorship within the Cameras For Girls community, inspiring aspiring young girls to embrace the transformative potential of their narratives.
