Our 2022 Uganda 4-day workshop experience

After two years of pandemic delays, we were proud to return in 2022 with our in-person photography and storytelling workshop at Makerere University, a partner we’ve worked with since 2018. Their campus provided the ideal space for our students to reconnect, learn, and practice their craft.

For the field practice portion of the training, we partnered with Concern For The Girl Child, allowing our students to apply their skills in real-world settings while engaging directly with community members.

This workshop not only marked a milestone in our continued partnership with Makerere University but also highlighted the resilience of our students, who pushed through global challenges to pursue their dreams in photography and journalism.
